The rose colored hammered exterior is stunning! The clear glass lids on the pan have a small steam release hole which is great. The handles on the pan and lids are metal. When I boiled water in the pan with the lid on the lid handle did get uncomfortably hot but the handle of the pot stayed cool enough to handle bare handed. This kit comes with red silicone utensils and a set of oven mitts so one can remove the hot lids. These non stick pans do have a recommended "seasoning". It is suggested that you "Add 8 minutes of boiling water in the pots and boil it for 3 to 4 minutes to achieve the cleaning effect." After wiping the pan dry one needs to apply a thin layer of food oil on the inner non stick and leave for 12 hours. Overall an attractive, sturdy and useful set of pots and pans.!

    I got them on sale, and I'll admit mosty bought them because they are cute and pink. I do cook often. Mostly been a good experience, but once I left my small sauce pan on with water to boil for something, I forgot about it for like 10 minutes, when I returned the pan had warped in shape and wasn't a circle anymore, I basically forced the lid onto the pan and used the lid to bend it back into place. I've never seen a pan bend before. My first "set" I've ever bought
